The bodies of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, sitting in the Valley of Roanoke, Orient of Virginia, acknowledge and yield allegiance to the Supreme Council (Mother Council of the World) of the Inspectors General, Knights Commander of the House of the Temple of Solomon, of the Thirty-Third and last degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States of America, whose see is at Charleston, in the State of South Carolina, now sitting at Washington, D. C.

Bro. Cole to the Roanoke Valley Scottish Rite. Accepting the award are Ill. Bro. Campbell and Bro. Rowe at the Scottish Rite Annual Conference on September 27, 2003 in Portsmouth, VA. The Youth award is given to recognize the valley that has provided the strongest support for our youth programs. The Roanoke Valley was selected for its outstanding work and support with the local DeMolay, Girl Scout, Eagle Scout, and JROTC programs, just to mention a few.
