SPECIFICS.

1. See General Rules, Section 1.
2. American Softball Association slow-pitch rules will be applicable.
3. Each regional winner is automatically eligible for the state competition. It is assumed that each region will conduct its own runoff.
4. Ten men will constitute a full team. A team cannot play with fewer than nine members.
5. Uniforms are not required, but in keeping with the DeMolay ideal of cleanliness and neatness, uniforms or similar dress are encouraged.
6. Street shoes, tennis shoes or non-metal spikes are permitted. Metal cleats and bare feet are NOT permitted.
7. Seven innings or 1 hour will be played to constitute a complete game. Teams tied at the end of seven innings will continue until the tie is broken.
8. The games will be under the supervision and control of two umpires provided by the host region with approval of the State Director of Competitions.
9. Each regional winner will supply two new restricted flight softballs for the state competition.
