2011 Spring Ritual Competitions

On Saturday, June 4, 2011, Virginia DeMolays met in Luray, Virginia to conduct business, induct new members and compete in a number of ritual contests. It is my pleasure to announce the winners, who will represent Virginia DeMolay at the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Tournament of Champions in Alexandria, VA in September of this year:

• DeMolay Degree - Westhampton Chapter
• DeMolay Degree 4th Section - Cmdr W. L. Herndon Chapter
• Flower Talk - Billie Chenault (Roanoke Valley Chapter)

These competitions are never possible without the assistance of a dedicated group of individuals who volunteer their time and expertise to evaluate our competitors. We thank the following advisors for doing so this weekend:

On Saturday, April 30, 2011, Virginia DeMolays met in Richmond, Virginia to compete in a number of ritual contests. It is my pleasure to announce the winners, who will represent Virginia DeMolay at the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Tournament of Champions in Alexandria, VA in September of this year:

• Magnificent Seven - Frank DeBenedictis (Cmdr W. L. Herndon Chapter)
• Nine O'Clock Interpolation - Tidewater Chapter
• Shield Talk - Alan Creager (Westhampton Chapter)

Congratulations to all of our winners! Our next round of competitons will occur during Virginia DeMolay's Spring Quarterly Meeting in Luray, Virginia on June 4, 2011. On that morning, chapters will compete in DeMolay Degree, DeMolay Degree 4th Section and Flower Talk. Winners will perform for the Grand Master that evening, and will earn the right to represent Virginia DeMolay at the 2011 Mid Atlantic Tournament of Champions.
